SNOWIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

 

These Terms and Conditions regulate the offer and sale of the Products (as defined below) on the website www.snowitexperience.com and on other web addresses that redirect to snowitexperience.com (website) and to the App – Snowit Skipass and Vacanze Neve made by Sportit S.r.l.. with legal head office in Milan, Viale Degli Abruzzi 41, postcode 20131, registered at the Milan Companies Register under no. MI – 2098729, tax code and VAT number 09545330962, online travel agency authorised by the Municipality of Milan Prot. MI-SUPRO/0146812 of 08/08/2018 with policy number 1505002199/Z of Nobis Compagnia di Assicurazioni S.p.A.

Please read carefully all the General Terms and Conditions of Sale before placing your order.

 

ARTICLE 1 – PERSONS AUTHORISED TO PURCHASE

Purchases on the Snowit platform can be made by all consumers as natural persons.

 

ARTICLE 2 – PRODUCTS/SERVICES OFFERED

PREMISES: Always check the websites of ski resorts and service provider partners to find out about opening and closing dates and times.

The products offered by Snowit can only be used during the winter season 2020/2021.

The company Sportit Srl cannot be held equally responsible for voluntary and/or accidental damage to things and/or persons, following the purchase of products sold through the Snowit marketplace (intended as Site and App).

 

  1. SKIPASS: At the time of purchase of the Skipass Product, the conditions imposed by the Snowit partner ski resorts – where specified by the ski resort itself – and the insurance conditions – in case of purchase of the insurance service- are understood as being accepted.

Please refer to the conditions of use of each Snowit partner ski resort:

 

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL: The right of withdrawal for ski passes is not exercisable, therefore all ski pass titles purchased on the Snowit platform are not refundable. Please refer to the general Terms and Conditions of each Snowit partner ski resort for the ski lifts closure and/or other special conditions.

 

WARNING: Please note that, for international ski passes (La Thuile + La Rosiere), the first access to the turnstile must be inside the Italian territory.

 

ACCESS TO REDUCED RATES (BABY-JUNIOR-TEEN-SENIOR): To access the reduced rates (BABY-JUNIOR-TEEN-SENIOR) it is necessary to insert the correct User’s identity documents inside the appropriate section during the Snowitcard registration. In this way the ski pass becomes personal and not transferable to third parties. Users are advised that the Snowit team, after checking and validating the document, has the right to block the ski pass for improper purchases (use of false documents or documents that do not correspond to the type of product purchased). It should also be noted that checks are carried out by ski resort operators. In the event of fraud or improper use, the User risks incurring the expected financial penalties by each ski resort and/or legal action. The controllers may request the presentation of any document justifying the reduced rates granted to the ski pass holder. If the Customer refuses or is unable to justify his or her identity, the controller may block and withdraw the ski pass and proceed to impose the expected penalties.

 

  1. SKIPASS PRE-SALE: Through its marketplace, Snowit reserves the right to offer at promotional prices daily ski passes for sale in “pre-sale” mode.

These can only be used during the winter season 2020/2021.

At the time of purchase of the Pre-sales Skipass Product, the conditions imposed by Snowit’s partner ski resorts are understood as being accepted.

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL: The right of withdrawal for ski passes cannot be exercised. Once again, please refer to the general conditions of each Snowit partner ski resort.

 

  1. SNOWITCARD: Snowitcards are registered products under the brand name Snowit.

Regarding the shipping service, Sportit Srl specifies that:

  • it is entrusted to a third party logistic partner
  • shipping times are indicative
  • shipping costs within the Italian territory are included in the price of the cards
  • additional costs related to shipments abroad are to be borne by the User.

 

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL: Withdrawal is permitted within 14 days from the date of order.

To exercise the right of withdrawal:

  • write to assistenza@snowitapp.com
  • agree on how to return the card (shipping cost to be borne by the User)
  • the refund will be issued by crediting the amount to the card used to make the online payment

 

  1. RENTAL: The Snowit partner rental shops are solely responsible for the rented equipment and the quality of the service offered.

The images reproduced on the Site and App Snowit have the sole purpose of representing a product/service of similar range to the one sold/supplied.

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL: The specifications regarding the right of withdrawal/cancellation for ski equipment rental are specified in the detail sheet of each individual product.

The end user who purchases on the Snowit marketplace has the right, after having contacted via e-mail assistenza@snowitapp.com, to:

 

  • 100% refund if the cancellation is made until 23:59 two days before the validity date of the booking.
  • No refund if the cancellation is made within 48h before the validity date.

 

  1. EXPERIENCES: The partner providers of experiential services are solely responsible for the quality of the service offered. The images reproduced on the Site and App Snowit have the sole purpose of representing a product/service of a similar range to the one sold/supplied.

The user must show up at the time indicated by the service provider, no refund is due in case of no show or not punctual presentation.

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL: The specifications regarding the right of withdrawal/cancellation of experiential packages are specified in the detail sheet for each individual product.

Unless otherwise specified in the detail sheet of each individual product, the end user who purchases on the Snowit marketplace is entitled, after having contacted via e-mail assistenza@snowitapp.com, to:

 

  • 100% refund if the cancellation is made until 7 days before the start date of the Service,
  • No refund if the cancellation occurs within 7 days before the start date.

 

  1. SKI/SNOWBOARD LESSONS: Snowit partner ski/snowboard schools are solely responsible for the quality of the service offered. The images reproduced on the Site and App Snowit have the sole purpose of representing a product/service of a similar range to the one sold/supplied.

The user must present himself/herself at the time indicated by the service provider, no refund is due in case of no show or not punctual presentation.

 

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL: The specifications regarding the right of withdrawal/cancellation for ski/snowboard lessons are specified in the detail sheet of each individual product.

The end user who purchases on the Snowit marketplace has the right, after having contacted via e-mail assistenza@snowitapp.com, to:

 

  • 100% refund if the cancellation is made until 23:59 two days before the validity date of the booking.
  • No refund if the cancellation is made within 48h before the validity date.

 

  1. STAYS: The stays that can be purchased through Snowit are sold in collaboration with third party partners specialized in the sale of online stays.

Snowit partner hotels are solely responsible for the quality of the service offered.

The images reproduced on the Site and App Snowit have the sole purpose of representing a product/service of a similar range to the one sold/supplied.

 

CONDITIONS OF WITHDRAWAL:The specifications regarding the right of withdrawal/cancellation of stays purchased through Snowit are specified in the single quote sent by email.

Unless otherwise specified in the email, the end user who purchases on the Snowit marketplace has the right, after having contacted via e-mail assistenza@snowitapp.com, to:

 

  • 100% refund if the cancellation is made until 14 days before the start date of the Service,
  • No refund if the cancellation is made within 14 days before the start date of the Service.

 

  1. WELFARE COUPON, DISCOUNT VOUCHER AND GIFT CARD: Snowit is a partner of third party companies that provide services on behalf of Snowit.

 

6.1       Welfare Coupon: Coupon code redemption procedure:

  • Enter in the “redeem coupon” section of the website the UNIVOCAL COUPON CODE present in the email you will have received
  • Select the date on which you want to go skiing
  • Select the ski pass loading mode:
    • if you already have a Snowitcard , then register your card, load the skipass on it, skip the queue at the cash desk and go directly to the lifts
    • if you don’t have a Snowitcard yet, you can pick it up for free with your Skipass at any of our Pickup Points.

 

 

CONDITIONS OF USE: The coupon must be redeemed by 4.00 p.m. on the day before the day chosen to go to the mountains.

The coupons are valid seasonally and can only be used during the 2020/2021 ski season. They are valid for one use only.

The end user must always consult the websites of the ski resorts to find out about the closing dates of the ski resorts at the end of the season.

In order to load the ski pass, you must accept the ticketing conditions of the individual ski resort and the insurance conditions.

 

TERMS OF WITHDRAWAL: The right of withdrawal for welfare coupons cannot be exercised.

The coupons purchased on the Snowit welfare partner platforms are non-refundable.

 

6.2       Discount vouchers: Procedure for using the discount code:

  • Select products from those offered on the snowitexperience.com website
  • Add the desired product(s) to the cart for the chosen date (e.g. 1 or more ski passes for Bormio ski resort to be used on 17 December)
  • During check-out, please enter your discount code in the appropriate section:
  • if the total value of the cart is less than or equal to the value of the discount voucher: nothing is due
  • if the total value of the shopping cart is higher than the value of the voucher: the difference is charged to the User

 

CONDITIONS OF USE: Discount vouchers are valid seasonally and can only be used during the 2020/2021 ski season and cannot be refunded.

The discount code applied to the cart deducts its value from the total amount of the cart (e.g. 2 ski passes in the cart with a value of 85€ – 60€ discount code = 25€ remaining to be paid).

The discount voucher can be applied only to one cart and if not used completely does not generate any residual credit.

 

ARTICLE 3 – BOOKING CHANGES

The conditions regarding any possible modification of the booking are specified in the detail sheet for each individual product.

Unless otherwise specified in the detail sheet of each individual product, the end user who purchases on the Snowit marketplace has the right to modify the existing booking by contacting assistenza@snowitapp.com.

Snowit reserves the right to charge a service cost that can reach 10% of the total amount of the purchased product (minimum service cost is €5).

 

ARTICLE 4 – PRODUCTS AND PRICES

The products are described in the “product description” page on the Site and App. Prices are indicated in Euro and are always inclusive of VAT.

 

ARTICLE 5 – PURCHASE PROCEDURE

To send a purchase order for one or more Products, you must go to the Snowit website and select the desired Product(s). Once purchased the Product(s) you declare yourself:

  1. a) to have fully read and understood the “Product description” of the Supplier’s Service,
  2. b) to unconditionally accept and undertake to comply with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and (where applicable) the Supplier’s terms and conditions of sale (the Terms of Service).

All financial details (credit card number or validity date) are sent via encrypted protocol to Stripe or other payment service providers available from time to time on the Site and App, without third parties having access to them. These details are not used by Sportit Srl except to complete the procedure related to your purchase or to make refunds in case of cancellation, in accordance with the exercise of the right of withdrawal, or to report cases of fraud to the police authorities.

To obtain the reduced rates it is always necessary to access the Site or App Snowit and complete the purchase.
